The Day Café is open seven days a week at The Circular, serving coffee, iced drinks, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and more.

Formerly Daddy’s Cafe, we’ve reworked the room to focus on a simple, well-executed menu with quick, friendly service. There’s seating inside and out, with plenty of space to enjoy the sun.

Here are our opening hours.

07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
08:30 - 15:30 Saturday & Sunday.

We have all sorts of ideas for the cafe but for now, we are going to start very simple, find our cafe legs again, and make steady incremental improvements as we go!

What happened to Daddy’s Café?
As many of our regulars remember, Daddy’s was created and run by Colm Keane in 2019. Ballymaloe-trained, Colm brought real focus and passion to the food. When Colm departed in late 2024, without his presence, it was never quite the same, and if we’re being honest, it felt like a poor imitation.
So we closed for a re-think.

The Day Café is a simpler, clearer offering that we can deliver to you consistently, and more in sync with all the various events and happenings at The Circular venue.
